The G305 is a straightforward wireless mouse for a PC gaming setup where cable freedom matters more than decorative lighting. It uses Logitech's LIGHTSPEED connection and a HERO sensor with sensitivity up to 12,000 DPI. Power comes from one AA battery, so keeping a spare nearby is a simple alternative to remembering a charging cable. Logitech rates battery life at up to 250 hours under its stated conditions; actual use varies. Its six-button layout is easy to understand, but the compact shape deserves a grip check if you prefer a large palm-supporting mouse.
