Choose an arcade cabinet by its exact game list and controls, then verify the online features separately. A familiar character on the artwork does not guarantee that your favorite version or multiplayer mode is included.
Make a must-play list first
Write down the specific titles and versions you want. Compare those names with the manufacturer’s list for the exact model, region and revision. A cabinet family can contain several products with different game collections. A high game count is less useful than the few games you actually intend to play.
| Feature | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Games | Complete named list for the exact cabinet |
| Controls | Joystick directions, buttons, spinner, trackball or other required input |
| Local players | Number of simultaneous control stations, not just alternating turns |
| Online service | Leaderboards, live multiplayer, account needs and supported titles |
| Physical fit | Assembled dimensions, control-deck projection and player space |
Leaderboards and multiplayer are distinct
Arcade 1 Up’s Pac-Man Deluxe page describes fourteen games and Wi-Fi leaderboards. Its NBA Jam two-player Deluxe page explicitly describes online multiplayer for up to four participants and a two-player control panel. Do not transfer the NBA feature to the Pac-Man product because both advertise Wi-Fi. Likewise, an online player count does not create extra physical control stations.
If online play is the main reason for buying, check the current service and game-specific support immediately before purchase. A product page’s feature description does not guarantee future service availability or that every included game uses the same network mode.
Verify the listing as a complete product
Match the seller’s model identifier, cabinet artwork, control panel and contents to the manufacturer page. Confirm whether a riser, stool or lighted marquee is actually included. Review power and assembly instructions and allow room for players to stand or sit. Avoid promising emulation accuracy, input latency or screen quality without independent testing of that exact unit.
